Original New World People
Research Division
The TIRAH Institute is the biosocial research division of the TIRAH Society and is responsible for advancing the social, political and economic interests of Tan Americans at the national level.
The Purpose
The institute's purpose is to restore the integrity of the native hybrid community under a new racial category, to bring a sense of solidarity and ecological balance to the lives of Tan Americans and to help Tans survive in a more racially diverse and complex society.
Primary Goals:
Define the nation's original hybrid people of color as a racial group.
Reconcile color differences that exist within the hybrid community and come to grips with the fact that these differences (Tan, Yellow and White) may hold a different social reality for some of us when dealing with outside groups.
Gain acceptance and respect as a viable and unified native people by respecting and cooperating with our own kind. "
