History of the Huguenot Emigration to America

The Huguenots came to America as refugees from France. In 1700 there was four ships that came to Virginia carrying the French Protestants. These refugees settled into a deserted Indians village. The village was abandoned by the Monocan Indians, the land was sold to the Huguenots.
