If you are looking for a Melungeon with Welsh Ancestry then I think I am that person. My mother was a Goins and her mother and father were both Goins although on the 1850 census my grandfather's grandparents were listed Goin. Her grandmother was a Hutchens and her great grandmother a Butler.
My father was a Williams and all his life he said we were Welsh not Scotch-Irish, not English, but from the Isle of Wales. His mother was a Seagle and her mother a Buff. All in and around Lincoln county NC.
